As a new poster, I cannot link directly, (perhaps someone else can) but google "Impact of Salvia and Peppermint Oil" to find recent research by a Polish University. They find that demodex can be killed just as quickly with chia oil in a test tube as with tea tree oil, but of course, chia oil is much more skin friendly, and can be added to your diet. Chia Oil is available in the supermarket health foods section.
I know some posters have had good success with adding chia to their diet, but perhaps some of you would like to try chia oil on your skin and report back. I'm sorry I cannot answer any questions as I do not have rosacea.
