Hey guys, so Im currently treating my Seb Derm/ mallasezia with nizoral and selinium sulfide. I alternate shampoos weekly and I also ocassionionally use a sulfur/ salicylic acid cream. I've been treating my seb Derm for about a week and there has been improvement. But, I have just got a break out of small papules on my cheeks and was wondering is this normal? My question is does this get worse before it gets better?
Also, should I use a moisturiser after using nizoral as the shampoo is very drying? It doesn't irritate my skin but my skin gets very dry and tight after using it. I know mallassezia love greasy moisturiser it can feed off so you understand my hesitation.
One last question. Is my skin just susceptible to this and thus I will have it for life, or is there a chance it will clear up as I get older and my oil secretions reduce? (I'm 23 btw)
