I finally saw a dermatologist who confirmed I have rosacea. I've had it for years.
They have advised me to take Efracea 40mg, which is also called Oracea for 3 months.
I'm a little apprehensive to take antibiotics/medication because I honestly don't know if it will do more
harm than good, especially as its environmental/temperature triggers that irritate my skin.
I get the occasional small bump/spot, sometimes in little clusters, which I didn't realise was down to rosacea. I usually run my nail over them ever so gently to help speed up the healing process otherwise they can take a while to disappear.
Would be good to hear experiences from those who have taken efracea/oracea
Thanks
Ali
