Do lasers address edema/swelling?

vendredi 11 septembre 2015

Hi, I'm wondering if lasers for rosacea (I have subtype 1) address the edema? I'm 20 years old and for a year now I have had moderately severe facial edema as a consequence of my rosacea/dilated blood vessels and it's driving me crazy. Without rosacea/edema I have the exact same face shape as Angelina Jolie- very angular, defined jawline and prominent cheekbones. Now my face is roundish, wide and asymmetrical. Unfortunately, it's COMPLETELY changed the way I look. Cry: Quite honestly, I don't even mind having severe redness as that can at least be covered with makeup, no problem...but the edema completely kills my confidence. I guess I'm a bit confused as to what to mechanism of action of lasers are, even after researching like crazy. Do the blood vessels in a way constrict, therefore less fluid is leaking out as a result, lessening edema?
