Does anyone else have the malassezia biofilm? (coined by Tom Busby, I think)

Along with some base redness and flakiness, it is really the only problem I am still having with SD. I can see the biofilm after I have got out of the shower, especially after sweating. It is most noticeable after sweating because the sweat acts as a soap and helps remove the top layer of the skin revealing white, gunky, residue all over my cheeks, nose, nose creases and in between my eyebrows. I can run a Q-tip across these areas and wipe the buildup away but it always comes back. It's like leftover SD, a barrier that the malassezia fungus has created. No anti-fungal topicals have worked to remove this, or anything taken internally. I have a zinc pyrithione soap that makes the biofilm visble, but does not really remove it.

After changing my diet (cutting out sugar and refined carbs) I stopped getting the red, sore, burning, stinging patches of peeling skin that people usually associate with SD, but this damn biofilm and the flaky, rough, oily texture of my skin will not go away.
