I was wondering if anyone had any experience using Fucidin cream?
I've been dealing with whitehead / pustules around my mouth (please see posting history for more detail) and my GP diagnosed it as folliculitis after looking at my face for less than 10 seconds. He immediately told me to use Fucidin cream 2 x a day......and that's it.
I have treated this before with benzoyle peroxide, so it is bacterial related.....however I'm pretty reluctant to just throw antibacterial topicals on my face after such a quick diagnosis. I'm not very confident that this can be cured with 7-10 days of applications either, since it does seem like a chronic condition.
If anyone has experience using this, any insight would be great! I have been using manuka honey + tea tree oil for my seb derm and it's been wonderful. But the folliculitis hasn't really responded to the natural treatment.
