Hello,
First of all, please excuse my english level. I am a french person, coming here after few searches on Google because it seems this forum car answer some of my question.
I have been under Seroxat/Paxil for 6 years, because of emotional hot flushes. When I was discussing in front of others, etc. I got red face blush: But after 1 hour or so, I had nothing. Also, at home, I was white.
Now I became more confident and wanted to stop Seroxat 3 months ago. I stopped it quite easily, but now I got another problem... I don't have any more "emotional flushes", BUT I get ALL THE DAY long a small blushing on my cheeks (more on the left one actually...). This makes me so angry... even alone at home, I have rose cheeks, and even when I wake up the morning I am not white...! If I take a shower or go outside, it's even worse... But really no more "emotional" ones.
What's that problem? Should I go again down Seroxat, even if I don't have anymore emotional flushes, but because of the blushing ? Or should I better try laser or so? And why these blushing all the day long came just after I stopped Seroxat... does Seroxat also prevents this?
I really think you may know more than my doctor, who seems to doesn't know anything about that. Looks like a very complicated problem (the difference between emotional blush and non-emotional ones, etc.)
I also want to ask you about the Seroxat all life long. Because if I take again the medicine and I see that stops my blushing, I think I will not stop again...
Thanks for your answers.
