Hi I'm Ed, just saying hello. I've had facial redness for years, with little spots on my forehead that from time to time get itchy, and get a burning feeling there in the sun. I have had other health issues that are more important than the redness, so haven't worked hard at a solution.. but when I've brought it up the docs have different opinions about whether it's rosacea, which I suspect, or late onset acne.. or what.
So I'm here to do some research.. contribute what I can, pick brains of the experienced etc
I've been prescribed a topical antibiotic which has got rid of the spots after a few months daily use... but they come back. Can't remember its name but it'll be on my med records somewhere.
I'm skin type 1 - burn easily in the sun, tan slightly if I'm careful... but not on my face, have oily facial skin, blush easily and look shiny compared to everyone else in photos...
the upside (of the oiliness) is I look a lot younger than I am :)
Bye for now ... good luck in your quest for calm. smile:
